She wanted a touch of whimsy at the dinner table

By adminew | March 15, 2010

Client’s colour theme for the dinner table is black and white.  We suggested white miniature calla lily with black feathers.  Her eyes lit up and she let us go for it.  Let us create a little black magic for you too!!

Hydrangeas and Roses? Heavenly combination … take a look

By adminew | March 15, 2010

Julia’s Rose is much admired for it’s unique antique hue. We wanted to show how it can be combined to make the colour work with other flowers and foliage. Here we have used hydrangeas which feature Autumn tones, Tuberose outer petal picks up the pink in the rose and tropical foliage striking pastel pink stripe all enhance the subtle colour of “Julia’s Rose”. We love working with a spectrum of colours and textures.  Leave it up to us.  We’ll create the “wow” effect every time.

An eclectic mix, but it works!! Check it out ….

By adminew | March 2, 2010

Totally texturally beautiful.  Flowers featured are white tulip, hydrangea, bruneii and banana bells (featured to the right of the arrangement.  Foliage used are cordyline in green to tie in with the green hydrangea and bruneii, and red cordyline to match the banana bells.  Flowers are arranged in a glass vase which has been wrapped with palm husk and bound with gold china cord.

Simplicity and quality.  The only way to go. They will remain in water until client takes them away to maintain freshness.  Giftwrapping occurs just before flowers are taken.

Fresh Wedding Flowers vs Faux Wedding Flowers

By Hermina Bevilacqua | August 23, 2017

Not sure whether to have fresh wedding flowers or faux for your special day?  Making a decision depends on a variety of factors. But before I get into this discussion I wanted to share with you my experience at the July Melbourne and Honeymoon Bridal Expo.  Our stand featured fresh wedding flowers only.  On display there were around 8 different bridal bouquet styles, with matching groom buttonholes, flower girls head circlets and floral crowns.  Couples visiting approached with curiosity, using phrases like, “are these real?”, “are they fresh?”, “are the flowers faux?”. Once they picked up and held the bouquet of their choice it was clear to see they were excited by the opportunity to feel what it would be like to carry a fresh flower wedding bouquet or wear a buttonhole. I was intrigued by their questions, which leads me to ask why a Bride would choose fresh or…
