Australian Native Flowers are sought after locally and around the world, because many are unique to the Australian continent. Australia boasts a large variety of vibrant and colourful array of flowers that bloom throughout the year. Here are some of the most naturally colourful flowers found in Australia.
- Waratah (Telopea speciosissima): The waratah is a striking, deep red flower that is the official floral emblem of New South Wales. It blooms from September to November and is commonly used in flower arrangements.
- Kangaroo Paw (Anigozanthos manglesii): The Kangaroo Paw is a unique flower that gets its name from its shape, which resembles a kangaroo’s paw. It comes in a range of colours including, red, pink, yellow and orange.
